FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS/POLICIES
1.) How do we price our boxes?
We price boxes based on materials used and amount of time spent making them. Some of our small boxes are just as expensive as our larger boxes because they can be as (or more) time consuming than larger pieces. We don't negotiate prices- we charge what it costs us to make the box.
2.) How do we ship boxes?
We ship boxes by USPS. Price varies according to box size.
3.) What if I want to return my box?
You can return your box to us for any reason (unless you damaged it) within seven days of receiving it. Mail it back to us with the same amount of packing to prevent damage, and on receipt we will refund your purchase price.
4.) Do you do custom boxes?
We have stopped doing custom work.
5.) How do I care for my box?
Clean it with Pledge or a similar product. To restore luster, wipe with a product like Howard feed-n-wax beeswax and orange oil, let sit for a few minutes, then wipe clean with a clean soft cloth. Severe temperature changes are bad for the boxes. Warping can occur if they are exposed to very hot or cold temperatures. Glass can be cleaned gently with a damp rag.
6.) What about sales tax?
Sales tax is covered in the price of the box.
7.) Do you have a storefront?
No. If you live in or around Austin, you can contact us to make an appointment to visit our studio and see the box(es) you are interested in.
